An incredible amount of toxic chemicals are used in the production prozess, beginning from the cultivation of the plant up to the finished garment. These toxics are causing the death of thousands of people each year, are polluting soil, water and air and are partly staying in the fabrics even after washing, causing allergies and health problems to the people who wear the fabrics.
